About Me and My Lessons
Hi, I’m Oran, a drummer and educator based in East London.
I’ve been performing, recording, and teaching for nearly a decade, and currently teach both privately and at Blackheath Conservatoire.
My focus is on helping students become confident, musical players, not just working through exercises, but learning how to actually play and enjoy music on the drums.
My Teaching Approach
Lessons are centred around the individual, their interests, their goals, and how they learn best.
I focus on practical, music-led learning, where students build skills through playing rather than through repetition alone. The aim is to develop strong fundamentals while keeping lessons engaging and relevant.
Whether the goal is to:

Where Do Lessons Take Place?
Lessons take place in fully equipped rehearsal studios in East London, primarily in the Dalston/Hackney area.
What Do Lessons Cost?
My lesson rates are as follows:
・30 minutes — £30
・45 minutes — £45
・60 minutes — £60

Availability
Lessons are offered within my current teaching blocks where possible:
- Tuesday afternoons & evenings
- Wednesday daytime
- Sundays

- Limited daytime availability during the week
